2020 Michigan Boys State Delegate Application
APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION FEE OF $375 DUE BY MAY 26TH, 2020

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a male student who has successfully completed their junior year (11th grade) of high school, or the equivalent of 11th grade in an accredited home-school program, with at least one semester of high school remaining, and has an interest in government.
SPONSOR(S): Anyone can sponsor a boy(s) to attend the program such as an American Legion Post, Sons of the Legion Squadron, American Legion Auxiliary Unit, civic organization, business, club, school, family, or interested individuals.
REFUND POLICY: Any boy who, for unforeseen reasons, cannot fulfill his obligations to attend the program before the application deadline date of May 26th, 2020, will need his sponsor to submit a written request to The American Legion Department of Michigan Attn: Programs 212 N. Verlinden Ave. Ste A Lansing, MI 48915 to receive a full refund. Refunds in writing received from May 26 – June 13, 2020, will result in a deduction of $45 (administration fee) per boy. Once the Boys State Program starts, there will be NO REFUNDS for boys who don’t attend the program.

Payment process
Payment is not required when completing this online application, we will invoice the sponsor. If you do not have a sponsor or need assistance in paying to attend indicate that in the sponsorship section and we will do what we can to find a sponsor.
Online registration only accepted
Only online registration will be accepted at department. If a post wishes to have paper applications you may request them from legion@michiganlegion.org, but the post or delegate will be required to submit the information via this form.
