MASUNGI X IKEA: Discovery Pocket Trail Request to Visit Form 

The Discovery Trail of Masungi Georeserve is an educational exploration of the karst biodiversity complemented by rock courses. The pocket trail  is a shortened version of the signature Discovery Trail Experience allowing a beginner-friendly introduction to the area and the outdoors.  A park ranger will be guiding guests through the trek providing a deeper understanding of the area.

Date & Time: Fridays & Sundays starting May 1 to July 14, 2026 at 8:20 am.

Conservation Fees:  ₱1,235 per guest on Fridays and ₱1,430 per guest on Sundays · inclusive of local park ranger guide, access to the rope courses like Sapot, use of helmet and complimentary light snacks. 

Sign-up deadline: 4 days before the visit date.

Please note that submission of this form does not constitute a confirmed reservation. You will receive a separate approval message once your slot has been confirmed. Kindly expect an e-mail from our team within 24 hours excluding Mondays. Should you not receive it within 24 hours, kindly send an email to programs@masungigeoreserve.com.

This will be a Shared Trail meaning guests would be grouped together to complete the maximum number of 14 guests in one time slot.

1. Until when is this experience available?
This experience is available for IKEAFamily Members and their guests starting May 1 to July 14, 2026, during Fridays and Sundays. IKEA family members are required to input their Family ID number in the form below, subject to verifications. 

2. What is the age limit?
The Discovery Pocket Trail is recommended for guests 13 years old and above. Children aged 7–13 may be accommodated upon special request, provided they have prior outdoor and hiking experience and are accompanied by a responsible adult.

3. How long does the experience last and what’s included?
The experience typically runs for 2 hours beginning 8:20 am, exploring select segments of the Discovery Trail (Silungan, Sapot, Putol na Kahoy, Bayawak, Liwasan).  Guests are served complimentary light snacks, including a choice of sandwich, steamed saba with cinnamon dip, and cucumber calamansi juice.  

4. What about transportation?
Conservation fees do not include transportation. As public transport options are limited in the area, guests are encouraged to arrive via private or carpooled transport with their companions.

5. Are there accommodations nearby?
There are no overnight accommodations within Masungi, but several  humble local inns and guesthouses are available nearby. Our team may provide recommendations upon request, though please note that no formal partnerships exist with these establishments.
