Worship Help Needed!
We need you! At CCC, we believe that the church is a better place when everyone plays a part. Whether you have five, ten, or fifteen minutes to spare on Sunday morning, you can make a meaningful contribution. Please select the areas where you'd like to serve from the categories below.
First, tell us who you are!
No need for your e-mail address, we should already have it. Just write your name below :)
5 Minute Jobs
All of our five-minute options allow you to sit with your family and participate like everyone else for most of the worship service.
Reading Scripture (Generally mid-service, after the worship set and before the sermon)
Leading Prayers (Either pre-written or extemporaneous, your choice!)
Serving Communion (Not to be confused with leading the liturgy. We'll ask you to stand up front and serve bread or juice)
Grape Squad (Serving grapes to children during communion)
10 Minute Jobs
These jobs require you to either come early or do a little bit of prep work before Sunday, but the tasks themselves only take about 10 minutes before or during the worship service.
Greeting (Greeting guests as they enter the church building, welcoming and helping visitors)
Children's Moment (Sharing a short lesson with the kids that relates to the week's theme)
15 Minute Jobs
These jobs are a little more involved, but you will play an essential role in making our worship services happen!
Ushering (Passing out bulletins and attendance books, collecting the offering, etc.)
Communion Preparation (Purchasing bread, juice, and grapes and preparing them for worship)
These are opportunities that don't exactly fit our 5/10/15 minute model, but they're just as important! Check any of the boxes below and we'll follow up with you.
Children's Church (Leading a short lesson and activity with children ages 4 through 3rd grade)
Special Music (Musical performance during worship)
Worship Team (Singing, playing an instrument)
Tech Team (Sound, projection)
Preaching (Don't be afraid to check this box! We'll probably reach out to you once a year.)
