Please submit ONE registration per team ASAP AFTER YOUR REGIONAL TOURNAMENT, and NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM ON MARCH 9. Note that teams performing in two challenges will have to submit separate registration forms. Volunteer Information:
We ask that each team provide a tournament volunteer to ensure that the tournaments run smoothly, and to promote a sense of ownership and community. Tournament assignments are usually 2-3 hours. We greatly appreciate our volunteers, and do not schedule them to work during their team's Team Challenge performance.

NEW in 2020! Volunteer assignments will be sent directly to Team Managers several days before the tournament. It will be up to the Team Manager and team to provide a volunteer during your appointed volunteer time slot. Volunteers should report to Volunteer Registration at the tournament and provide their team number to be checked in.

Teams who do not provide a volunteer will receive a 10 point deduction from their Team Challenge scores.
Media Release:
Sanctioned tournament officials and media representatives will be filming/photographing participants and spectators throughout the day. Please notify all team parent/guardians. MN DI will be using photographs and video clips for marketing purposes, including websites. If you have team members who prefer not to have their pictures used, please indicate their names here.

Global Finals May 20-23, 2020 Kansas City MO:
If your team advances to Global Finals, payment is due on May 1. For details on pricing, see www.globalfinals.org.

Team Manager Meeting for all teams nominated to attend Global Finals will be on Thursday, April 2 beginning at 4:30 PM at ISD 287 in Plymouth.

In order to have shirts ready for our Global Finals Team Manager Meeting on April 4, please give us your Team Manager and team member shirt sizes. Options: Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult X-Large, Adult 2X, Adult 3X.

Global Finals Lottery:
MN DI can send 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers, along with ties, to Global Finals. There is also a Lottery system this year. We will nominate two additional teams per Level per Challenge, based on merit. If your team is next-ranked (the designated Globals Finals Alternate), placed first in the Team Challenge, Team Choice Elements or Instant Challenge, or won an Award, the team could be entered into the Lottery, and will receive a confirmation of this at the MN DI Affiliate Tournament Awards Ceremony.

Lottery teams will be selected randomly at DI Headquarters beginning April 15 and notified by email that they are invited to attend Global Finals. Invited teams will have 48 hours to respond. Selections will continue until April 22. Lottery teams will also have to register for Global Finals and make their $500 deposit by May 1.
