  • Student must be going into senior year with at least 19 credits in required subject areas and on track to graduate
  • Student must have a college and career readiness indicator prior to the start of their senior year (i.e. passed an AP/AICE exam, passed an industry certification exam, or passed a dual enrollment course with a C or higher through VC, UCF, Barry, etc.)
  • Student must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 at the start of the 2026-27 school year and at the beginning of semester 2 in January 2027

  • Student must have parent signature
  • Student must have alternative transportation to/from school for late arrival/early release.
  • Students are not allowed to ride the bus to school and not have a 1st period class. Similarly, students are not allowed to ride the bus home without having a 7th period class.
  • Qualifying students will only be allowed to receive a maximum of 3 periods off campus.
The purpose of this agreement is to ensure that students understand the responsibilities involved with late arrival/early release. The student agrees to meet the following conditions:
  • Be on time and regularly in attendance of scheduled classes.
  • Maintain at least a “C” average in my courses of study on campus.
  • Always have with me and show my Ocoee HS ID card with appropriate semester release sticker when arriving or leaving campus when asked by school personnel.
  • Leave campus within 5 minutes after my last regularly scheduled class ends.
  • Arrive no more than 15 minutes before my first scheduled class and wait in the attendance office until the bell rings to transition to my class.
  • Purchase a parking decal within the first week of my late arrival/early release class IF I’m driving on campus.
  • No other student shall arrive late or leave early in the same car unless they also have late arrival/early release.
  • I understand that failure to comply with these conditions may result in administrative disciplinary action, loss of parking privileges, and/or loss of late arrival/early release.
  • I understand that I may have my late arrival/early release privilege revoked should I not comply with the above terms and will receive a full schedule in place of my early release/late arrival periods.
Student: I agree to the above terms and I agree that my typed name below can be used as a digital representation of my signature to that fact. *
Dear Parent or Guardian,

Please be advised that your senior has requested fewer than seven scheduled class periods for the 2026-27 school year and will be arriving late and/or dismissed early during the regular school day if approved. Seniors planning to attend college should be certain that part-time attendance would not jeopardize their chances for admission. State universities now require eighteen academic credits, completion of math through Algebra II, and two credits of the same world language. Part-time seniors must also be aware that the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program has specific requirements and that grade point averages may be improved by taking additional courses. Please sign and submit this form if you agree to have your senior attend Ocoee High School on a part-time basis for the 2026-27 school year. Please reach out to your student’s school counselor if you have any questions concerning this form.
  • I understand that my child cannot arrive on campus more than 15 minutes before the first scheduled class if they have late arrival and must leave within 5 minutes of the last scheduled class if they have early release.
  • I understand that my child cannot ride the school bus to school if they have late arrival or ride it home if they have early release. I understand I will have to make alternative transportation arrangements for my child to arrive later than 1st period or leave earlier than 7th period.
  • I understand that if my child drives a vehicle to school, an Ocoee High School parking decal must be purchased. They must have a current driver’s license (not a learner’s permit). I further understand that current proof of insurance and current registration for the vehicle must be provided at the time of purchase. See parking contract for complete details.
  • I understand that my child cannot transport other students to or from school unless those students also have late arrival/early release.
  • I give permission for my student to attend Ocoee High School on a part-time basis for the 2026-27 school year.
Parent/Guardian: I agree to the above terms and I agree that my typed name below can be used as a digital representation of my signature to that fact. *
