We wish to support members of underrepresented groups who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend CRAFT for financial, social or any other reasons. This includes (but is not limited to): people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people, women and disabled people. We're offering free tickets to members of underrepresented groups in the tech community. Our goal for this year is to provide free ticket for 100 people, and if necessary support their travel and accommodation (for EU citizens up to $350 (USD), for non EU citizens up to $500 (USD).
We strongly encourage members of underrepresented groups to apply.
Diversity Ticket for Conference Days includes:
- 2 days filled with talks from speakers, practitioners worldwide.- Conference party on the first session day.- Breakfast and lunch on every session day, dinner on the first day, all with vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose free options.
*The Diversity Ticket is NOT valid for the workshop days.
- Be a member of a group not well-represented within the tech community or at technical conferences, including but not limited to: women, people of colour, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+- Must be able to attend Craft Conference (You must have visa and be able to travel to Budapest)- Must be 18 years old or over to apply- If employed, your employer will not cover the cost of your conference attendance. (Before you apply, please consider that this scholarship is for those, who otherwise could not afford to attend Craft Conference)- If you participated in Craft 2017 Diversity Program, you won’t be seleceted this year.
