Skirball Talks: King in the Wilderness A Film by Peter Kunhardt April 9, 2018
The Center for the Study of Transformative Lives at NYU is excited to present a free screening of King in the Wilderness, a new HBO film by Peter Kunhardt, centered on the last years of Martin Luther King Jr. This screening is in conjunction with a panel discussion featuring the film’s executive producer Trey Ellis, NYU Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Lisa Coleman, and Pulitzer Prize winning historian David Levering Lewis.

Held weekly every Monday at 6:30pm during the academic terms, SKIRBALL TALKS hosts visionaries from the worlds of politics, the arts, sciences, academia, and more.

Even if you have picked up a ticket, please be aware that if you are not seated in the theater by 6:20pm, we will be opening up the theater to people in standby line. Tickets must be claimed by 6:10 pm. Unclaimed tickets will be released to those on the standby line.
