The goals of this engaging and stimulating event are to inform the attendees on the new clinical and research development in the acquisition of knowledge related to narcolepsy, but also to increase interaction between patients, students, clinicians and researchers. During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to network with peoples and exchange ideas, practical experience and current research in this exciting and evolving area.

There are several important questions that need to be answered on immunology, metabolism, pathophysiology, comorbidities, biomarkers, borderland of central disorders of hypersomnolence, psychosocial aspects, cognition and treatment of narcolepsy and related-rare hypersomnias.

At the end of this meeting, we will have a clearer picture on how narcolepsy and other rare hypersomnias should be currently diagnosed and treated, and what we still need to learn to improve our knowledge in these areas and to improve the quality of life of people suffering from rare hypersomnias.
