Join hundreds of students in recovery from around the country and nearly 1,000 total attendees for our best event yet!

We are looking for content and programming for our week in San Diego. Want to chair a meeting, host an activity, or lead a breakout session? Fill out the information below!

April 15th: Call for Proposals closes
May 1st: Acceptance emails sent out
Early June: Schedule Finalized
June 24th-26th: Student Leadership Summit at UC San Diego

Potential Session Types:

Panel: This session format would require a moderator to facilitate a conversation among panelists related to a particular topic. Previous examples of panel sessions included “Leadership & Service”, featuring students across programs and communities making impacts on their campuses and “Life After Graduation”, which highlighted the experience of collegiate recovery alumni.

Participatory/Experiential: This session format is centered on learning and skill-building and giving conference attendees the opportunity to connect with each other. Previous sessions of this type include Resume & Cover Letter Workshops, Learning to Share Stories to Reduce Stigma, and a discussion related to Peer Leadership. We hope that the participatory session will get folks up and moving and meeting new people.

Recovery Meeting: We are also looking for individuals or student groups to lead Recovery Meetings throughout the Summit and we would love to provide a variety of formats and meeting types. Some examples from previous Summits include Mediation Meetings, Yoga, or Text Discussions.

Other Ideas/Proposals: Let us know if you have other ideas that should be included in our program for the week!
