Permablitz Site Request Application
We receive many requests for Permablitzes. As a group are always looking for worthy projects—ones that show off good design and help us to promote permaculture within the community. We also want to make sure that each site will benefit from these community oriented workdays, and that the gardens or other elements installed are understood by the site/owners and caretakers. A good yield must be obtained for our group’s collective efforts and resources. We want to choose sites that will help us build our community and build a sense of reciprocity, much in the spirit of an Amish barn raising.

You will need to provide a map (hand drawn or electronic) or property survey of the location on your property you would like us to install a perennial food garden. If there is another permaculture design element you would like installed, please elaborate here. On your map you must include a scale, compass, and critical infrastructure such as the nearest buildings, large trees, water sources, fences, paths, and the slope of the area. Prior to installation, you and/or your design team leader will need to draft a plan of how these gardens should look when they are completed.
