Clarendon School District Two seeks public input on how the district should use federal funding ($12,871,651) received from the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs resulting from the impact of COVID-19. The District must consider the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on underrepresented student subgroups, including each major racial and ethnic group, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, English learners, gender, migrant students, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care. The District must retain $2,574,330.20 for activities to address learning loss and the remaining amount to address emergency needs as identified by Clarendon School District Two.
