UIALC plans to start the Sunday School from Sep2025 to May2026
This Form is to collect information for interested Parents/students to get an idea on the numbers and ages of students to prepare for it.
Guidelines For UIALC Sunday School 2025-2026
Our mission is to provide Islamic education for students of all ages to strengthen their relationship with Allah (SWT). We aim to preserve their Islamic identity while nurturing Islamic etiquette, character, and moral behavior to prepare and motivate them into becoming responsible members of our growing community.
The minimum age required at the time of registration is 5 years.
Dress Code: Participants must adhere to Islamic dress requirements:
Male participants: Loose, moderate clothing (no shorts).
Female participants: Loose, moderate clothing with head covering.
Attendance: Parents are requested to bring their children regularly and on time to school. Also, they must pick up their children, promptly, following the Zuhur Salah. Regular attendance is crucial for student success; missing three consecutive Sundays may affect promotion.
Class Material: Parents must ensure children bring required textbooks and supplies in a backpack.
Homework: Homework reinforces classroom learning. Parents should create suitable study conditions and support completion without doing the work for the child.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Sick children should not attend. Parents will be notified if a child is injured or ill during school hours. Administration cannot administer medication without specific authorization. UIALC does not provide insurance coverage for unforeseen incidents and will not assume responsibility in case of accidental injury to a child.
Emergency Contact Information: Accurate emergency contact details are essential. The school must be notified promptly of any changes.
Conduct & Behavior: Students are expected to show respect for themselves, for other students, and for their teachers so that each classroom has a climate in which optimal learning can take place. A zero-tolerance bullying policy is strictly enforced. Food, drinks, and electronic devices are not allowed, and cell phones must be on silent mode and used only in emergencies.
Discipline: Disrespect, profanity, or other misconduct will result in disciplinary action, potentially including removal from the school.
