Dear Friend,

We are facing global climate collapse and social upheaval. Anxiety, grief, freeze, depression and overwhelm are very normal reactions to unprecedented times.

That is where I come in.

I work in a practice I am terming Ecological Wisdom Direction, an emerging field that brings together environmentalism and the spiritual values of reverence for nature, interconnectedness, reciprocity, and service. I believe that our relationship with the living world is our bridge to wholeness. And I am here co-create an environment of healing by weaving together psychological, emotional and spiritual support.

🌍 What is an eco-doula? 🌍

An “Eco-Doula” is named after the midwife, to accompany new life to be birthed in our deepest selves and in the collective. An Eco-Doula is foremost a spiritual caregiver, specializing in tending to wounds between humans and the Earth.

🌍 What is an eco-doula session like? 🌍

Sessions include a variety of somatic practices, guided meditation, gentle questioning, embodied movement, ritual and nature practice, tailored to you. These sessions are built to accompany you to navigate the grief, death and dying our world is facing, what is most alive in your heart, and to help you deepen your relationship with the living world.

This space will be nourishing, healing, regulating and seed hope for the road ahead.

I source from various wisdom and mindfulness traditions including ecological practice, Mayahana Buddhism and the Bodhisattva path, mystical Christianity, sacred chanting and mantra, yoga, mindful movement, ecstatic dance, embodiment, nervous system regulation, and conscious service.

My work is especially informed by my Buddhist eco-chaplaincy certificate including Deep Ecology, my masters degree in psychology from the University of Cambridge and my graduate certificate in trauma-informed care from Harvard Medical School.

I take a trauma-informed approach anchored in cultural humility and awareness of my various positionalities. I believe you have the resources for healing within you.

This is for you if:

✨ You desire to compost suffering and turn it into medicine.
✨ You have a need for spiritual accompaniment and care.
✨ You are wrestling with questions and discernment in your becoming.
