Site Captain Sign-Up - Remember, Reflect in Spirit and Action Day of Service
Repair the World Pittsburgh is planning a community-wide day of service on 10/25/2020: Remember, Reflect in Spirit and Action in collaboration with the 10.27 Healing Partnership. This day of service is centered around the 2-year mark of the 10/27/18 synagogue shooting that impacted the three congregations worshipping there: Dor Hadash, Tree of Life*Or L’Simcha, and New Light. This is a traditional way within the Jewish community to honor loss through community service. To help support the important work and reflection being done, we are looking for people who would like to take action and step-in as Site Captains.

Site Captain Responsibilities Include:
- Communicating to all registered participants about any necessary details for gathering such as a Zoom link, place of meet up, or items to bring.
- Leading a service-learning reflection for participants at your service site.
- Adding to the Service Reflection Template provided with more contextual information about the service activity.
- Coordinating with co-host from service provider organization to help facilitate activity and stay in communication with participants.
- Support any logistics needed for supplies, such as picking up masks for in-person opportunities.
