[RSVP] Shaping the Future of Global Collaboration through the Plastic Treaty: International Coastal Cleanups and Citizen Science

The International Coastal Cleanup® (ICC) engages people to remove trash from the world’s beaches and waterways. We believe that using citizen science to globally quantify and visualize marine litter can support the development and enforcement of a stronger, science-based ILBI.
This seminar aims to:
•Align ICC efforts—such as citizen engagement, data collection, and policy proposals—with a robust ILBI.
•Identify specific actions to guide future global ICC initiatives within the ILBI framework.
