Interactive Policy Tool Panel
The PSC, on behalf of the 'Better Security, Better Care' programme at the Digital Care Hub, are looking for adult social care staff to join a focus group on MS Teams from 12pm to 1:30pm on Thursday 10th July, as part of our research to create interactive policy generation tools.

Having data protection and security policies is essential to ensure the confidentiality, safety and dignity of vulnerable individuals receiving adult social care, while complying with all the legal and regulatory requirements. We know that developing these policies can be hard due to limited resources, lack of in-house expertise on the choices and their implications, and the challenge of balancing care responsibilities with compliance demands.

We're aiming to help providers to easily create effective policies that suit your circumstances, through a series of policy creation tools, and are hoping to speak with adult social care providers to help us develop this tool.

During these conversations, we will:
  • Ask questions about your needs and experiences with collecting and managing data, including any existing policies you have in place
  • Share the developing policy creation tools, and hear any thoughts you have on what works well and what doesn't
We wouldn't expect you to have any technical knowledge or experience, as we want to make sure that the tool is easy to understand for people from non-technical backgrounds as well.

In recognition of the value of contributions, we will be providing £25 vouchers to participants after the session.
