Pending final approval, the US National Science Foundation has
graciously agreed to support travel of some US based participants to the conference
Hilbert Function Spaces 2025. Below is an application form for financial
support. Support will primarily be reserved for early career researchers and
graduate students whose research/research interests match the conference topics
and who do not have access to other sources of federal funding.
For those who will get supported, keep in mind that any
funding is provided by the NSF. In particular, we have to abide by the Fly
America Act, which requires that flights must be performed by or under a
code-sharing agreement with a U.S. flag air carrier. If you have further questions, contact Stefan
Richter at srichter@utk.edu
We will accept applications until all funds are committed, but preference will be given to applications that are completed before April 16. However, we will be unable to confirm travel support until we
have received final approval from the NSF. Supported individuals will be asked
to register with the University of Tennessee, and to submit their receipts
after the conference.
Please note that required
fields should be filled in to the best of your ability, but “none” is an
acceptable answer.
