10/12/2022 “From life to
‘life performance’” [14:00-16:00 in the Clockhouse, 37 Generaal Foulkesweg]
15/12/2022 “About yourself
and the other(s)” [17:00-19:00 in Studio Laboratelier,
Generaal Foulkseweg 1A]
Performance has the character of
embodiment, live-event and is built on top of temporality. However what is ‘a
performance’ then? In this series of two workshops, we are going to explore
together the possibility of finding performance in everyday life. In the
workshop “From life to ‘life performance’”, we will discuss about
performance in city scales --- we will work mostly outdoor; in the workshop “About
yourself and the other(s)”, we will talk about performance from the aspect
of human interaction.
During both sessions, there
will be individual or group assignments given to you and also moments to share
your findings to the group. This workshop is part of a creative project ‘From Life to Life Performance - A
Guidebook of Creating a Life Performance’,
funded by Stimuleringfonds creatieve industrie (Creative industries fund
nl) and organized in collaboration with Stichting OtherWise.
1. The two workshops are related yet not
directly connected. You are welcome to sign up for just one or both workshops.
2. Tea, coffee and cookies are provided
during the sessions.
