The Boyd Orchestra Boosters provide musical, educational, performance and social opportunities for the orchestra students at McKinney Boyd High School. Your annual membership fee allows us to sponsor opportunities such as the following as well as more events throughout the year:

Need-based private lesson financial aid

Clinician fees and director expenses, such as sheet music, video recordings and supplies

Mark of Excellence registration and banner fees

Transportation costs for students participating in Orchestra field trips

Food and drinks for students at Orchestra Social Events

Food, drinks, and goodies for students participating in the All-Region Clinic/Concert and UIL Concert

Decorations, food and drinks at Orchestra Banquet, including free tickets for Seniors

Senior Scholarships awarded at the End of Year Banquet
