Apply to be a part of the Statewide River Detectives Program 2019
The Statewide River Detectives Program is now in its third year and we are looking forward to working with schools across Victoria to help educate our children about Catchment and waterway health!

The program's aim is to support you to explore and monitor your local catchment and waterway (river, lake, wetland, estuary etc.) with your students and help us to understand how are rivers, creeks and wetlands are travelling.

By being involved in the program, you will have access to:

- Professional Development workshops to help you teach your students how to monitor and report on habitat, water quality, waterbugs
- Access to extra content on the River Detectives website
- Resources and ability to log data on the Statewide Waterwatch Database
- Loan a water quality kit and waterbug monitoring equipment
- Online virtual learning sessions for your students to join in an interactive session and learn from ‘experts in the field’
- Support and guidance from your local River Detectives coordinator

The program is run by Catchment Management Authorities (including Melbourne Water), there are limited places in each of the following regions, so get in quick!

- Corangamite CMA
- North Central CMA
- North East CMA
- Melbourne Water's area of operation
- Wimmera CMA
