Summer Nonprofit Immersion Program Student Application
The Summer Nonprofit Immersion Program (SNIP) is a summer immersion program that brings together undergraduates at Wake Forest University with community partners to enhance both the learning of the student and the capacity of the nonprofit partner.

The student participants selected are seeking scholarly, professional, and personal development through intensive work in the nonprofit sector. Community partners will provide committed mentoring and supervision to the student and a work plan that enriches the capacity of their organization while connecting to the student's academic and/or professional interests.

The Pro Humanitate Institute will select 13 SNIP Fellows for the summer of 2018. SNIP Fellows will be provided housing, a $750 stipend, and transportation, if needed. Interns will work an average of 30 hours per week with their community partners, Monday - Thursday.

In addition to their work with assigned partners, Fridays will be reserved for SNIP seminars where students will dive into academic questions surrounding civic engagement, volunteerism, nonprofit management, and social justice.

SNIP will run from June 4th - July 27th. SNIP Fellows will take an introductory intensive seminar on June 4 and June 5th to prepare them for their work with partners. Fellows will work at their placements June 6th - July 27th.

The application for SNIP Fellows will close on March 2nd. Interviews will take place the week after Spring Break.
