EmbraceRace for UU Families Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in participating in our pilot training of EmbraceRace for UU Families. This program is for Unitarian Universalist religious professionals, educators, and/or leaders who want to nurture antiracist children and their caregivers in their congregations.

Over 6 two-hour online sessions, EmbraceRace staff, along with UU colleagues, will offer you:
   * An opportunity to experience the EmbraceRace for UU Families workshop
   * First access to the curriculum for parents and caregivers
   * Access to the accompanying curriculum for children and youth
   * Training to implement this program in your congregation
   * Facilitation tips and coaching
   * A chance to shape this program for future participants

The curriculum explores how race and racism impact society and our kids today, the roles that parents and caregivers can play in helping children grow in their racial learning journeys, and opportunities for caregivers to reflect on their practices with children. The children will engage in an art-based curriculum called Drawing Differences that will align with the adult sessions.

We are offering 3 cohorts with 6 sessions running from the week of October 8th through the week of November 18th, 2024 (no class November 5th).
   * Cohort A: Tuesdays, 1-3pm ET, 12-2pm CT, 11am - 1pm MT, 10am - 12pm PT (waitlist only)

In this case, please do not pay until you are offered a cohort that works for your schedule.

Rates:
   * Plus: $400 - I have robust professional expenses and can pay a little more to support others in attending.
   * Base: $300 - I would like to pay the actual cost.
