At Beacon, we build Beloved Community one group at a time. It’s what a covenantal religion is all about.

In Community Groups, we grow spiritually by connecting relationally. In a group of 8-10 people, you'll experience belonging, care, and accountability. Your group will be led by two trained facilitators who follow monthly themes and small group packets.

Normally, groups meet initially for 1-2 group-building sessions, after which your sessions will be based on the monthly themes. Then, the group meets twice a month for a year.

During the pandemic, groups are mostly meeting via Zoom (virtually) twice a month.  There are a few groups that have held outdoor gatherings or indoor-masked meetings.  These decisions are made within the group and with consideration of all members as well as according to the Beacon guidelines for meetings during the pandemic.  Please indicate below if you need a virtual-only group.
