The V-M^2Ed conference will bring together researchers (including graduate students) from different theoretical and methodological perspectives to contextualize current conceptions of validity within the field of mathematics education.
Conference participants will include individuals with expertise in mathematics education, psychometrics, and applied measurement (e.g., special education or educational psychology researchers), as well as individuals with interests related to measure validity (e.g., policy).
The purpose of the conference is to facilitate discussion on strengthening quantitative measure quality in mathematics education, with a specific focus on validity as it relates to tools used to measure student- and teacher-related outcomes that are useful for large-scale applications.
