Consideration may be requested using this form for off campus learning experiences when they meet standards in a way that would not be possible in the traditional school setting.
Please note that:
-Only 5th grade trips will be considered for extended day trips, whether using school buses or other.
-The time at the destination should be longer than the total travel time.
-Upon completion of this form, it will be routed to your principal for first approval before being presented to the Director of Elementary Education for final approval.
-The lead teacher, whose email is required in the form, will receive notification of the decision.
-If your proposal is approved, please know that this does not include a transportation request. If using VCSC buses, use this
Activity Transportation Request at lease 3 weeks in advance.
-Cafeteria manager must be notified 2 weeks in advance that students will be absent from lunch or that sack lunches are requested so that they may adjust their food order quantities or items.
