World Oceans Day Cleanup - Saturday, June 8
Please join us on Saturday, June 8th, as we celebrate World Oceans Day.

Volunteers are needed to protect Tampa Bay! Bring your kayak, canoe, paddle-board, or motorboat to help remove litter and debris from the Hillsborough River. This event is open to volunteers with access to their own water vessel. All water-based volunteers will launch from the Lowry Park Boat Ramp. We will also have volunteers on land to clean up litter and debris along the shoreline, and throughout Lowry Park and the surrounding neighborhood before it ends up in the Hillsborough River.

WHEN:
Volunteer Sign In begins at 7:30 a.m.
Cleanup from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

• Sunscreen
• Hat/Sunglasses
• Protective footwear (close-toed, no sandals or flip-flops)
