You're Invited to Register for the Garden To Grill Cooking Class!
One goal of Garden to Grill is to educate you on how to prepare healthy whole meals with inclusion of foods that are grown from your garden, purchased at a farmers market or the local grocery store. Also, Garden to Grill will focus on the benefits of using a grill pan for healthy low-fat meals. The grill pan will provide convenient and alternative ways to prepare healthy meals instead of frying.
The class will consist of nutrition, physical activity education, and a food demonstration. Each participant of the Garden to Grill cooking class (1 per household) will receive free nutrition and physical activity educational materials, and 1 free stove-top grill pan to help reinforce healthy behaviors.
