Activity Recommendations for STEM Week Oregon Toolkit
STEM Week Oregon, May 5th through 13th, is a state-wide movement to raise awareness, celebrate and engage young people in activities involving science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The goal is to engage students, families, and community members in STEM related activities where no experience is needed. If you would like, please provide an example of a fun hands-on STEM activity relevant to your community. For example:

PBS Science Games for 1st and 2nd Grade

Description: Try some of these free science games for grades 1 and 2 featuring PBS KIDS characters to boost your students’ early development of science skills and interest in science

While this is a national example, we encourage you to submit activities used in or by your community as a way to share fun and engaging STEM activities while building awareness of your programming.

Please submit your activity by April 27th to have your activity included in the toolkit.
