TOTC2024 - Day of Service Registration
Whisky Barrels to Rain Barrels: Support local bar sustainability
Are you a creative individual passionate about sustainability?  Join Edrington, the Water Collaborative, and Greenlight in our sustainability focused Day of Service!  

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Tales of the Cocktail Foundation's sustainability initiative's, learn about the history of water and justice in New Orleans, and paint rain barrels that will then go to bars and restaurants in the city.

This Day of Service will kick-off on Sunday, July 21st at 9am. Attendees will gather at the Ritz and shuttle out of the quarter to Uptown, Audubon Park where the Water Collaborative will provide a brief history of how justice and water played a role in the development of New Orleans. Attendees will walk towards Greenlight, a nonprofit in the city, where they will paint rain barrels that will later be used in bars and restaurants throughout the city.

Who can volunteer? Individuals 21+
Qualifications
No painting experience necessary. 
Greenlight has a strict no plastic requirement on site. Please plan to bring your own re-usable water bottle.  

What to wear and bring:
Please bring your own refillable water bottle. 
Please bring your own face mask. Bandanas and neck gaiters are not acceptable.
NO open-toed or open-heeled shoes. NO TOMS or other cloth-like shoes. NO Crocs. Wear shoes that are sturdy and appropriate  such as sneakers or boots. Wear clothes that are appropriate for painting.
