The Alaska Writers Guild is seeking proposals for our monthly programming and annual conference. 

Monthly Programs or Conference Breakout Sessions Proposals for monthly programs or conference breakout sessions should be for one-hour presentations on a writing or publishing related topic. As compensation, speakers may choose to either receive $50 or complimentary AWG membership for one year. All conference presenters will also receive complimentary general conference registration. No reimbursement for travel or hotel expenses will be provided.

Conference Intensive Workshops Proposals for conference intensive workshops should be for three-hour presentations on a writing or publishing related topic. Workshop intensive sessions are typically presented to an audience of no more than 20 attendees. Material should be presented in an interactive format and often includes time for writing, brainstorming, read-alouds, small group critiques, or similar. As compensation, speakers receive $150 and complimentary conference registration. No reimbursement for travel or hotel expenses will be provided.
