Taking place from 10–13 September 2019, the Festival will be hosted by the University of Warwick with a focus on showcasing cutting-edge science through a wide range of traditional and creative formats. Thousands of people come together to celebrate the latest developments in science and to engage in open discussion about issues that affect our culture and society.
Festival proposals should be aimed at non-specialist adults (16+) with a broad interest in science. Festival events will take place during the daytime on the university campus, followed by events throughout the city each evening. Events will take place in lecture theatres as well as in a variety of venues across the city. We aim to programme a range of formats from talks to drop-in activities and creative content.
There is a strong media presence at the Festival and as such we will be looking for proposals that might be of interest to the media.
The deadline for submissions is 9.00 Monday 18 February 2019.
Please make sure you read the FAQs before submitting your proposal.
