All MPS CE instructors are hired as employees of the Minot Public School District. All employees are paid an hourly rate starting at $20/hour. All supplies are provided by MPS Community Ed. MPS Community Ed does not hire outside businesses as contractors to provide classes.
All instructors are required to complete paperwork with our Human Resource Department prior to employment. These are conducted in our main office free of charge.
We accept proposals on an ongoing basis and develop schedules 3 times/year. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee we will offer your class. Final decisions are based on interest, viability, facility availability and other factors.
