However, we understand that the resulting tall grass can be challenging to manage and remove, especially if it's too tall for your mower. That's where we come in!

Abbeyleix Tidy Towns is thrilled to announce our pilot programme designed to assist gardeners, smallholders and managers of housing estate common areas like you. Here's how we can help:

• Expert Advice: We will visit you and offer advice on the suitability of your space for pollinator-friendly initiatives.
• Grass Cutting and Hay Removal: In August/September, we will return to cut your grass and remove the hay, ensuring optimal conditions for wildflowers to flourish.
• Native Seed Provision: If appropriate for your site, we will supply you with locally collected native seeds to enhance species diversity and accelerate the pollinator-friendly transformation.
