Hello Parents and Students
Thank you for applying to our LEAD After-School Program. LEAD is a free program funded by a federal grant that allows students to earn high school credit while learning, developing leadership, and having fun! Below you will find questions needed for our Federal Reporting as well as making the program run as smoothly and safely as possible.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT L.E.A.D.
SCHOOL CANCELLATION AND REMOTE LEARNING DAYS
If school is cancelled or we have a remote learning day, our LEAD After-School program will be cancelled as well. The district often sends information stating after school activities still happen at middle and high schools; however, our program will not run in these situations.
SCHEDULE AND LOCATION OF CLASSES
LEAD after-school is held MONDAY-THURSDAY from 1:45 PM - 4:00 PM at Burchell High.
Quarter 1 classes will run from Monday, August 25th - Thursday, October 16th at Burchell High.
1:45 - 2:18 Supper (free) and Open Gym
2:20 - 4:00 Class Time
BUSING FOR LEAD:
Busing may not be available! Please keep this in mind as you register your student! We are working on making sure that 4 buses will be available for students to take as needed. When busing becomes available, please insure that your student is using the bus. If a route is not being used regularly, we will have to remove it to accommodate other stops.
