Summer Academy Internship Application
The Covenant Prep Graduate Support Team is excited to announce the 2024  Summer Academy Internship program for 8 Covenant Prep graduates from the 2021-2023 classes. Summer Academy runs from July 8, 2024 - August 2, 2024 Monday through Friday from 8a to 3p. Applicants must be available for the duration of the program and have transportation to and from Covenant Prep each day. The bus for Summer Academy leaves for Avon Old Farms promptly at 8a every morning.

Intern Responsibilities:
- In assistance of the CPS staff, support student activities, both academic and extracurricular throughout the duration of Summer Academy. 
- Complete a minimum of 1 hour per day in the Graduate Support Career Readiness program which includes but is not limited to career exploration, resume building, networking, and interview practice.

Requirements:
- Graduated from Covenant Prep in 2021-2023
- Completed application submitted online.
- Parent email of approval for application and verification of availability sent via email to Mrs. Perkins - mperkins@covenantprep.org.
- Teacher Recommendation letter sent to Mrs. Perkins mperkins@covenantprep.org directly from teacher. YOU MUST DIRECTLY REQUEST THIS FROM THE TEACHER. Mrs. Perkins will send them a follow up email.
- Available and commited to attending Summer Academy from 8a-3p  July 8, 2024 - August 2, 2024 (pick up and drop off at Covenant Prep).
- Exceptional behavior and work ethic that will enhance the learning experience for current CPS students.

Benefits of participating in the Summer Academy Internship Program:
- $1,000 stipend for successful completion of program. 
- Lunch provided daily in Avon Old Farms dining hall.
- Transportation provided daily to and from Covenant Prep to Avon Old Farms. 
- Career exploration & preparation for future employment

Applications will be reviewed by the Graduate Support team and participants will be notified by email by June 7, 2024. 8 participants will be selected.
