The submission of this expression of interest (EOI) form will serve as a notification of your interest in participating in the Youth Touch World Cup in 2018 as a SELECTOR.

"Touch Singapore" is in search of a Selection Panel to assist in selecting our "Touch Singapore" Youth World Cup players to participate in Malaysia, August 2018.

Ideally "Touch Singapore" are looking for a dedicated panel to see through future team selections over the coming year(s).

The panel is accountable for selecting the best possible team from the available players.They must display honesty, objectivity and impartiality in their findings and recommendations and must have the ability to work in the team environment. Finally, professionalism is required at all times. This includes behavior and appearance, such as appropriate uniform and attire both on and off duty.

General Responsibilities:

1)      Familiarise oneself with the Selection Policy.

2)      Examine the coach’s selection criteria.

3)      Become familiar with the assessment sheets.


The following recognised divisions will be offered at Youth World Cup 2018.
● Boys Under 18 (B18) (players born 1st January, 2000 – 7th August, 2003)
● Girls Under 18 (G18) (players born 1st January, 2000 – 7th August, 2003)
● Mixed Under 18 (X18) (players born 1st January, 2000 – 7th August, 2003)
● Mens Under 20 (M20) (players born 1st January, 1998 – 7th August, 2001)
● Womens Under 20 (W20) (players born 1st January, 1998 – 7th August, 2001)
● Mixed Under 20 (X20) (players born 1st January, 1998 – 7th August, 2001)


There will be two trial dates for all players for Selectors and Coaches to have a look. The venue will be at the Tanglin Rugby Club Fields, Turf City.

First trial date for all players - Saturday, 4th November 2017 Afternoon
Second trial date for all players - Saturday and Sunday 25th & 26th November Afternoon

Exact timings of the trials will be communicated to all involved parties after EOIs are closed.

All EOIs are to be submitted by Monday, 2nd October 2017 2359HRS.
