Promotional/Outreach Contributions
As a member of the OTHS Robotics team, you must participate actively. This participation varies from member to member, depending on which roles you choose to take on, however, you must participate in the minimum number of required Promotional and Outreach events, outlined below. Please keep in mind: you will have to complete your assigned tasks properly and on time.

There some limited opportunity for substitution between activities in Promotional and Outreach events. Please speak to your Team Captain if you wish to focus your activities in one area more than both. Generally, members who have best demonstrated dedication, reliability, gracious professionalism, and coopertition, at the discretion of the Mentors and the Team Captains, will be given priority consideration for leadership opportunities and chances to attend events where attendance is restricted (such as Leadership Retreat, Regional Events, Championship Event), as well as for the annual Bursaries of $500 (awarded to one female and one male member of OTR).

Promotional Events: Please indicate, by placing an x in the box, which of these events you are interested in participating in.
You must attend or contribute to (by organizing, designing flyers, etc.) a minimum of 3 annual promotional/sponsorship/community events. These events help promote OTR at OT and in the community. They help us obtain sponsorships and promote engineering and FIRST. (Some events may qualify for volunteer hours.)
Outreach Events: Please indicate, by placing an x in the box, which of these events you are interested in participating in.
You are required to do at least 1 of the following events. The time commitment for these could be one Saturday/a few hours after school/one week/weekly. By making an impact on students involved with FLL, we increase awareness of OTR to potential new members and we diversify our support of the FIRST program. (Volunteer hours are obtainable for all of these events. Lego experience and/or training courses may be required for some of these activities.)
