DigMus “Empowering Museum Professionals with Digital Skills” (DigMus) is a collaborative development project, supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers in the framework of the NordPlus Adult Program. It aims to map the existing digital needs and strengthen museum professional competencies in Sweden, Estonia, and Lithuania.

In 2021 the DigMus team will organize several activities that aim to help museum professionals to facilitate a more sustainable and multifold integration of digital collections in museum professional practices.

To make sure that these activities keep up with the existing demand, we invite museum professionals to participate in the survey. With the survey we aim to understand:

How do you utilize digital collections and digital tools in professional practices?
What are your current training needs in digital skills and competencies?

The survey consists of three blocks and contains up to 20 questions.
The first block covers the background information about the museum and the respondent. The second section addresses professional practices and training needs of the following museum domains:

Management/Strategic Planning
Digitization
(Digital) Collection Management and Digital Activities
Education/Pedagogy
Communication and Marketing

The third part of the questionnaire is focused on the DigMus training format and networking activities.
