In addition, we are offering community service hours for those who attend our program. In this 14-week Arts N’ Chats program, we will explore topics such as mental health, the importance of self-care, peer pressure, academic stress and expectations, body image, how to de-stress, and many more!

ABOUT TRC
The goal of the Teen Resource Center is to create positive, inclusive, and safer spaces for adolescents and young adults ages 13-21. Since 2003, the TRC has been an integral component of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center by meeting the needs of underserved Asian American immigrant youth in the New York City Chinatown community. Utilizing a holistic approach in connecting with youth development, the TRC is built upon three core components: (1) One-on-one health education with youth to provide relevant, clinically-accurate information, (2) Programs and events to engage teens with the community and their peers, and (3) Referrals to connect youth with additional health and social resources.

The TRC is an open space for young folks of any background to learn about their own health, have someone to talk to, or just hang out. You can come in to use a computer, print homework, stay cool/warm, get water, use the bathroom, or say hi. We are always happy to talk to you about anything such as healthy relationships, stress management, school, and more!
