Payment Arrangement & Visit Terms
Please make sure you read all information here before booking this taster:
Programme Information http://www.jpf.org.uk/language/teaching_stepout.php#taster
Guidelines for Schools: http://www.jpf.org.uk/download/JTS%20Guidlines%20for%20Schools.pdf

We will always confirm with you after finding volunteers to make sure that you are happy for them to visit, and that the school is able to cover their travel expenses based on their location.

Please note that due to the nature of the programme, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that volunteers will always be available, particularly for schools in regions where no volunteers are located. If we cannot find any volunteers, we will always endeavour to inform you as soon as possible so you are able to make other plans. We also recommend booking at least one month in advance of the taster to increase your chances of finding a volunteer.

Please read the terms below and tick to confirm that you agree. *
"I have read the Programme Information and Guidelines for Schools documents, and confirm that I will communicate this information to all parties involved in the taster at my institution. I agree that the school will reimburse the volunteer for ALL travel expenses (and B&B accommodation if necessary). If paying by cheque or bank transfer, I will confirm with the volunteer that he/she has a UK bank account. Otherwise, the school will pay the volunteer by cash on the day of the visit. I also agree to ensure that a responsible member of school staff will be present to supervise the taster session at all times. I agree to be contacted by Japan Foundation in the future and to complete an evaluation form following the taster session."
Required
Does the school agree to cover photocopying costs of handouts, within reason? *
Please note that it may not be possible to arrange the taster if the school does not agree to cover reasonable photocopying costs
Required
Will the school pay an additional amount to the volunteer? If so, please let us know how much your school would like to give.
Please note that this is entirely optional
