Community Facility Use Request
Portage Public Schools and the Board of Education believe that school facilities are a valuable community resource to be shared. District facilities are available to rent by community groups and nonprofit organizations as long as it does not conflict with school activities and programs, and are in keeping with the vision and values of the District.

Rental requests are accepted in the order in which they are received. First choice is always given to PPS groups. Should there be multiple requests for a single facility or room, we use the following priorities:

A. Uses directly related to the schools and operations of the schools.
B. Uses and groups indirectly related to the schools.
C. Departments or agencies of the municipal government.
D. Community organization formed for charitable, civic, social, religious or educational purposes

Please help us care for equipment and facilities by leaving the space as good or better than you found it. Please report any broken or damaged property to the District Office.
