Seach Community Workshop
Life Community Church is sponsoring community workshops on the last Tuesday of the month, February-May. We will be exploring ways that we can better support ourselves, our children, and our community. The topics that we will be discussing include caring for children with difficult behavior, routines and self-care, physical wellness, and emotional wellness.

February 28Health & Wellness -- This workshop will cover first-aid and caring for sick kids at home. It will answer questions like when to go to the doctor, when to stay home from school, and provide recommendations for day-to-day care like helping kids learn the skills they need to feel well and succeed.

March 28:  Self-Care & Routines --  This workshop will focus on the importance of having routines for both adults and children and the impact they can have in our everyday life. Participants will learn both the value and process of developing routines and walk away with a plan for their family to try.

April 25Caring for Children with Difficult Behaviors -- This workshop will focus on parents and caregivers of children with difficulties in emotion and behavior regulation. Participants will learn basic strategies for de-escalation as well as coping strategies and resources available for the adults providing care.

May 30Emotional Health and Getting Help -- This workshop will focus on emotional intelligence and will provide some basic education on common mental health struggles. It will also address the steps for getting access to mental health care if professional help is needed.
