Manteno Market At The Square
Thank you so much for your interest in the Manteno Market At The Square! Please fill out the application below if you’d like to participate in our market. Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be selected. 

Location: The Square on Second, Manteno, IL 60950 

Held on the first and third Wednesday of every month from May-September from 4p-8p

NOTE: If accepted you will receive an invoice via the email address you provided. The invoice is due by date listed on invoice. If invoice is not paid by due date, the vendor will forfeit the booth space and will be replaced by a vendor on the waitlist. 

DAY-OF INSTRUCTIONS: The week leading up to the event, all selected vendors will be notified Via email of set up instructions. Vendors are responsible for collecting their own sales tax. Vendors must also provide tents, tables, chairs, and weights. Vendors must keep their area clean and in good order at all times. 

Additionally, all supplies (chairs, tables, product, etc.) must be contained within the booth space purchased. If your set up exceeds the assigned space, you will be asked to adjust your booth space. Due to safety concerns, no exceptions will be made. All vendor property must remain fully intact until the event has officially ended at 8pm. All vendor equipment must be dismantled and removed from the grounds at the conclusion of the event. Only one business per booth will be permitted. These events are all outdoors and are all rain or shine. 

Food vendors/trucks will be accepted at this event. Any vendors selling any edible items are required to follow all Kankakee County Health Department regulations. Contact the Kankakee County Health Department for full information at (815)802-9400. The Village of Manteno does require you to fill out a permit application to sell any edible items at the market.  Any person who desires to engage or conduct business as an Itinerant Merchant / Transient Merchant / or Food Truck Vendor shall have a criminal history check done by the Manteno Police Department at cost of $50.00. The permit will need to be turned in and background check completed to the Manteno Village Hall before opening day of the Market.  You can find the permit application by visiting: https://villageofmanteno.com/wp-content/uploads/Application-2025.pdf
