MediaWise peer-to-peer training
NOTE to Professors: At this point, any requests for training must be placed on a waiting list! Please do reply, though, and if we can, we will fit you in! Thanks for your interest!

MediaWise, a fact-checking initiative of the Poynter Institute, is pleased to offer one-hour, virtual fact-checking workshops led by trained college students during the spring semester of 2023. If you are a college educator, please fill out this form to request a training.  A Campus Correspondent will then be assigned to you to work out final details. These unique peer-to-peer training sessions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have questions or need more information, please email program coordinator Kathleen Tobin at kathleen@poynter.org.

Please kindly take note: Professors who sign up but then cancel will have reduced the number of grant-funded trainings we are able to provide. So please, we are asking for serious commitments only. By checking below, I confirm that I intend to host a Campus Correspondent in my classroom at a time and date of my choosing in the Spring 2023 semester. *
