We are excited to announce that DCC's reading groups are back for the Spring semester. We hope that this semester's reading group will introduce participants to works by and/or about BIPOC disabled and chronically ill people, as well as to read works about the impacts of anti-Blackness, racism & ableism.
Our reading group will be held in-person and on Zoom on the last Wednesday of each month from 5-6pm Arizona Time.
February 23rd: "Blackness and Disability: Critical Examinations and Cultural Interventions" edited by Chris Bell
March 30th: Resistance and Hope: "Essays by Disabled People" edited by Alice Wong
April 27th: "More Than My Scars: The Power of Perseverance, Unrelenting Faith, and Deciding What Defines You" by Kechi Okwuchi
