Cor Coffee Barista Intern Application
Cor Coffee is the main outreach apostolate of the Newman Center that exists to awaken the desire of college students to encounter Christ and become fully alive in Him.

The Cor Coffee Barista Internship is a six to eight week-long, unpaid opportunity for students to receive training and formation for being a barista at Cor Coffee.

Expectations include:
  • shadowing (and eventually working alongside) a Cor Coffee Barista for 1 to 2 hours per week
  • attending a monthly 1.5hr in-service with all Cor Coffee Baristas
  • reading and responding to weekly GroupMe messages
  • displaying commitment to excellence and professionalism
At the conclusion of the internship, Cor Coffee Barista Interns might be offered a full-time job as a Cor Coffee Barista or be invited to extend the internship for more experience. Participation in the Cor Coffee Barista Internship does not guarantee a full-time barista position at Cor Coffee. A Cor Coffee Barista Intern can choose to end their internship at any time if they are no longer able to meet the expectations. The Head Baristas and Cor Coffee Manager also reserve the right to end internships at any time.

The mission of Cor Coffee is to "Awaken the desire of college student to encounter Christ and become fully alive in Him." We provide a space to encounter goodness, truth, and beauty through high-quality coffee and good human conversation for those who aren't Catholic and might never come into a Catholic church. While you don't need to be Catholic/Christian to do our internship, there will be formation for you to learn who Christ is in order for you to be able to share Him and help us in our mission. Are you willing to learn who Christ is? *
