By enrolling in a Thea Tutoring class you are agreeing to assume responsibility for overseeing the safety of your child at class. Although we try our best to provide a safe environment, we do not assume liability for the health and safety of you or your family.
USER AGREEMENT, DATA PROCESSING AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By attending classes you and any of your guests are agreeing not to use any of Thea Tutoring® inventions (including but not exclusively, lesson structures, lessons plans, lesson arrangements or other formats even if there is some reordering of these structures, plans etc., methods of teaching, activities and materials) in schools, commercial or voluntary groups unless you have express written permission from Thea Cooper. This expresses in writing what has always been implied, which means that any past attendance of Thea Tutoring® classes or activities is equally covered by this agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this User Agreement, you may not use or access our services.
Thea Tutoring has selected 'Contract' as the lawful basis for processing current client information. In order to fulfil our contract with our clients, providing them with information about the classes they attend and opportunities for nurturing their child’s mathematics progress, we hold and process personal data.
When clients discontinue attendance, and become previous clients, our lawful basis for processing personal information changes to ‘legitimate interests’. We continue to hold records in order to inform them about reunions, classes and any other opportunities they may wish to attend which we feel may help their children’s mathematics development.
All personal information is stored by the local Thea Tutoring teacher on password protected devices and synchronised to Thea Tutoring Central Station password protected devices via ‘Dropbox’ and / or Google external storage. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and all our local licensee teachers are also contractually required to register with ICO in order to ensure that your, and your child(ren)'s, data is protected to a high standard. We will never pass information onto a third party organisation and clients and previous clients may ask us to delete their records at any time simply by sending an 'unsubscribe’ email (blank email with 'UNSUBSCRIBE' in the subject line) to theatutoring@gmail.com.
Thea Tutoring reserves the right to cancel and refund classes where there are insufficient numbers to make it viable.
SAFEGUARDING & PRIVACY FOR ONLINE SESSIONS
By joining the session you agree to be part of a live video call and will be visible to others in the group. Please make sure that you are happy with Zoom’s privacy policy before joining.
https://zoom.us/privacy. In joining the group you agree to supervise your children at all times while they are on a live video call. There should always be a parent/carer available for the entire duration of the lesson. Please make sure that you are in a suitable location and you and your child are fully clothed if you are enabling video. To maximise security for your family, we operate a waiting room and password system to ensure only those pre-registered join our group. We also disable recording of the session.

By continuing to use our services, you agree to accept these changes, and you should check them each time you book classes as they are binding on you.
