We aim to foster stronger inter-school links and create a network for the improvement of social conditions in Hong Kong and beyond. Currently, ISSIA has over 130+ active contributors and designers from 28+ schools throughout Hong Kong. In addition, we have also expanded internationally, with contributors from the U.S, India, Philippines, Russia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and the U.K!
We produce a variety of multimedia content, including magazines, podcasts, webinars, surveys and videos. In the forthcoming year, we intend to launch a series of live events and programmes, ranging from workshops, conferences and the introduction of school chapters.
ISSIA prides itself on having an active community and network of passionate individuals, all working to shed light on pressing issues and providing an inclusive platform for social engagement and student voice; the notion of civil discourse has never been more important and is central to our driving ethos - one we will continue to uphold. issiahk.orgThis form is for individuals that are interested in administrative/operational leadership openings in ISSIA. By taking on these roles, you will procure solid managerial/leadership experience and will be closely involved with the day-to-day running of ISSIA! These roles form the backbone of ISSIA, in addition to covering ambitious projects outside of the ISSIA Magazine (multimedia projects, physical events, outreach and development etc.).
Deadline: July 13th 2020
Note: where available (events/programmes and outreach/partnerships), please signal whether you would also want to be considered for other roles in the same category/department (e.g. events manager --> ISSIA conference/workshops coordinator). Do not use your "second choice" to apply for a role in the same category!
For your second choice, you must use the "elaboration on interest" question to supplement your relevant experience/ why you are interested in the role/ what makes you suitable.
Please note that title names (e.g. director vs vice president) are not final and may still be subject to change to reflect the nature of responsibility of each role.
Interviews may be conducted on an ad-hoc basis.
