Steps to obtaining a Discounted Parking Hangtag Permit:

Fill out this Employee Discount Parking form (https://forms.gle/CkKdX5wHLh3Ypi1D8) and submit.  
One employee per form.
Completed forms are sent to Stamford Downtown to review and confirm.
Confirmation that you are eligible to be in the program will be granted if you are an employee or owner of a ground-level retail, restaurant or service business located within the boundaries of the Stamford Downtown Special Services District and conduct business predominately at the address of the business listed on your form.
You will only be contacted if you are NOT eligible within 24 hours.  Otherwise, you are ok to purchase your permit directly at Permitting office.   See options below.
 
Note: This form serves as your request and will be verified by Stamford Downtown office within 24 hours
 
Options to purchase;
1.  In person at the City of Stamford Permitting office.  Photo ID required
2.  Or mail your completed form with a  Photo ID copy and payment to Stamford Office of Cashiering and Permitting: 888 Washington Blvd, Stamford CT  06901.
Include your check for $61.68 ($58 plus  6.38% CT tax)/month payable to “City of Stamford”  and self-addressed stamped envelope to receive your new hangtag parking permit.
 
Cash, Checks and credit cards are accepted  (except Amex).

Session Payments:
Option to pay monthly or purchase up to 6 months in advance. Verified employees will stay on file with the permitting office for the current 6 month session period after verified.  You only need to be verified once within the 6 month session. (Sessions: January -June OR July - Dec).  Permits are valid for the full month.
 
Please note:
Fraudulent use of this  discount will result in future ineligibility.
Permits are not transferable.
Applicable in City garage selected and available starting on level 3 floor or higher only.  Misuse of these rules may result in parking fines.
Valid for City Garage Parking only.
