Use this form for requesting any visit to the Natural History Collection (Room 22) including the Bone Room (Room 22A). We suggest that reservations be made a minimum of a week in advance (preferably earlier) to assure that you are able to secure the space and time you need. A staff member will respond to all submitted forms as soon as possible, usually within 24 business hours. Requests made less than 24 hours in advance will most likely be denied. Students, faculty, staff and non-RISD visitors may all use this form, but all classes must be supervised by an instructor or teaching assistant. Reservation of room space is NOT secured until you have received a confirmation email that details the date, time, and duration of your visit.
Due to heightened demand from RISD summer programs, we do not have the capacity to book non-RISD programs (including Brown) during summer months. Individuals may still apply for access, which will be granted as space allows.
WINTER SESSION 2026 OPERATING HOURS (Jan 5 through Feb 6):
